The Ed Arnold Seniors Quartet Award is given in honour of Ed Arnold, a long time avid quartet singer and patriarch of a barbershop family in the Ontario District, who achieved a 5th-place standing at the Seniors International Competitions in both 2001 and 2002.
Given by Ed’s family and friends, this award is given to the top ranking Ontario District Quartet chosen at the Ontario District Fall BHS Contest as the representatives to the Seniors International Contest held at the Barbershop Harmony Society Midwinter Convention. Through Sing Canada Harmony, the award is presented to the quartet at the Spring Convention following the midwinter competition in January in which they represent Ontario District.
