Your donations helped create this course in music theory.

Daniel Berlin received a small scholarship to develop the eLearning course Music Notation for Barbershoppers. His course is now available, and he would like to ‘give back’ by sharing it. It was specifically designed for Barbershoppers but, of course, anyone can use it, or it can be amended for any other music genre.

Do you have a will?

Perhaps one of the best things we can do for our families is to prepare for our inevitable departure from this life. If it has been five years or longer since you created your will (or if you have never made one) it is time to do it.

Click here to find out what happens if you die without a Will? (Intestate) .

Consult with a professional and take care of your loved ones. There has been increasing estate litigation in Canada among unhappy family members. A will may keep this from happening to your family.

If you want to benefit specific individuals or charities, other vehicles allow gifts that can be paid out without relying on a will, such as life insurance policies and other investments that permit designated beneficiaries. You may want to consider making end of life gifts to worthy charities, including to Sing Canada Harmony Scholarship Fund. A gift may qualify you for the Legacy Program.

To have an immediate impact you can set up a monthly donation through our donation page, using Canada Helps. Your monthly donation of $10 or more will qualify you for Ambassador of Song. A donation of $84 or more per month will qualify you for Presidents Council.

Sing Canada Harmony has been providing educational opportunities for singers, music educators and choral communities for 12 years and will continue to do so, thanks to the generosity of our donors. Your support has sent people to university, provided Zoom subscriptions that are keeping our musical communities in touch and communicating with each other. There are projects to produce a compilation of Canadian folk songs in the barbershop style, to purchase music and literacy resources, to support children’s choir programs in several communities and other innovative programs that provide singing opportunities for Canadians of all ages.
